Frequently Asked Questions

Everything about using Getting Pace as your daily to-do tracker and schedule manager.

What is Getting Pace?

Getting Pace is a free daily to-do tracker and schedule manager. You type in the tasks you want to do today, tick them off as you go, and the whole list unchecks itself again at a time you choose — so every day starts clean.

How does Getting Pace help as a daily to-do tracker?

It keeps one focused list instead of an endless backlog. Unfinished tasks stay at the top in the order you added them, completed tasks sink into a Completed section, and a progress bar shows how much of today's list you have cleared.

Is Getting Pace free?

Yes. Every feature on the site is free to use, there is no paid plan, and no account or sign-up is required.

What is the daily reset and can I change the time?

The daily reset is what makes Getting Pace a habit tracker rather than a checklist: at your chosen time each day, every ticked task becomes unchecked again so your routine repeats. Open the clock button in the top right to set the reset time, or reset the list immediately with “Reset now”.

Where are my tasks stored, and do they sync across devices?

Tasks are saved in your browser's local storage on the device you are using. Nothing is uploaded to a server, so your list does not currently sync between phone and computer, and clearing your browser data will erase it.

Does Getting Pace connect to Google Calendar or send reminders?

Not at the moment. Getting Pace is deliberately simple: a typed daily list, a completed section, and an automatic reset. Calendar integration and notifications are not part of the current version.

Does Getting Pace work on mobile?

Yes. The site is fully responsive and works in any modern mobile or desktop browser, including a light and dark theme you can switch from the top right corner.
