Official Policy

Privacy, data handling and terms of use for Getting Pace.

1. Overview

This page sets out the official policy of Getting Pace, a free daily task and schedule manager. By using this website you agree to the terms described here.

2. Data we store

Your tasks, their completed state and your chosen daily reset time are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device.

We do not upload, sell or share this information. Clearing your browser data removes it permanently, and we cannot recover it for you.

3. Data we do not collect

Getting Pace does not require an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or payment details, and we ourselves do not build advertising profiles from your activity. Third-party advertising partners may use cookies as described in section 5.

4. Cookies and tracking

The site uses local storage strictly to remember your tasks and appearance preference. It is not used for cross-site tracking.

5. Advertising

Getting Pace may display advertising served by third-party vendors, including Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this or other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at https://www.google.com/settings/ads, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at https://www.aboutads.info/choices.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent notice will ask for your permission before personalised advertising cookies are set.

6. Acceptable use

You may use Getting Pace for personal and professional planning. You may not attempt to disrupt the service, misuse it for unlawful purposes, or resell it as your own product.

7. Availability and disclaimer

Getting Pace is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We do our best to keep it reliable, but we are not liable for missed tasks, lost data or any loss arising from use of the site.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product develops. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.

9. Contact

Questions about this policy, or anything else about Getting Pace, can be sent to eternalphoenix129@gmail.com. We aim to respond to reasonable requests promptly.
